Why we built this
Most guidance available to patients planning treatment in India comes from sources with a commercial interest in where they go. Referral platforms earn commissions from hospitals. Hospital international patient departments advocate, by definition, for their own institution. Even well-intentioned content is frequently produced by people with no personal experience of the journey.
Care is built on a different premise. The most useful thing we can offer is information and community with no commercial stake in your decision. We earn nothing from hospitals. We are paid by nobody in the Indian healthcare system. Our independence is not a marketing claim. It is a structural fact, and it is the foundation on which everything else is built.
We also believe, because we have lived it, that the patient journey does not begin and end at the hospital door. It begins with the first anxious search after a diagnosis. It runs through the logistics, accommodation, and family coordination that nobody plans for. It does not end at discharge. Post-treatment care is consistently the weakest point in the medical tourism experience and the concern patients rank highest before they even travel. We are building towards covering that entire arc honestly, with the community at the centre.
We are early. The platform is imperfect. We will tell you what we have not yet built rather than pretend it exists. That honesty is the entire point.
